It seems like everybody is jumping on the band wagon trying to fill a niche.

I guess that there is an audience for almost any type RV, but as far as those Vans are concerned, for the money you would have to shell out for one of those bad boys you could go out and buy a 5th wheel, or TT for sure...

You're right Tommy. I remember back in the mid 1990's we had a new Winnebago Brave.
We were out in West Yellowstone in a campground and a full size Ford conversion van parked next to us. I got to talking with the guy and we were laughing about the difference in the size between the 2. Come to find out his conversion had everything in it that our big Winnebago did. Except the roominess , and it cost more then ours.

I get it you are starting with a motorized vehicle so the cost at the get go is higher...The problem I have with this type of vehicle is once you are finished camping the vehicle is useless...

Maybe if the foreign market gets more involved with the manufacture of RV's like they did autos, it might wake up the U.S. industry.

I really wouldn't call it self propelled. The gives you the wrong impression. It more like partially propelled when towed.

I think you are correct on that. Also from what I get out of the video, they are moving/positioning it at the campsite. Looks like a remote being used.

FIRST---I would like to see the electrical schematic for both of those items...As you know camper companies are NOT GREAT for schematics on any of their systems...
Second---I wonder what the price tag is on that ( I'm guessing ) 20 foot Airstream..? You could probably buy a cheap A class for the same price...
