New topic
Just thought I was tired of the one that was here. I am sure everyone has had some difficulty with a new purchase, but spreading it all over the web is a little extreme. JMHO

I agree with you 100%. If you have a problem and want help fixing it, fine. If you need to know how to go a step further, fine, ask it here. But, just posting problem after problem and in some instances never having contacted CR, well that's a bit much. I appreciate the questions and I appreciate the answers even more. But, spreading negative dialog just doesn't help. All one has to do is think about it, CR's build's 1,000's of units, and to me I see more instances of CR's stepping up to the plate than not stepping up. I love my unit and I am already considering moving up to a 5th wheel, especially after seeing Ruck's unit at the CR Rally. Yep, a little bit of envy there, but actually the unit I have will be good for me to break in with, I just hope I don't get beat up too bad on trading it in.
Thanks,
Jim

Lloyd,
I knew I could depend on you for a great comeback. Actually, I kind of miss Tim...he posted some funny stuff. If I'm not mistaken, you got to meet him at the Texas Rally this year. I hope he was as funny in person as he was on here.

Just ran across this old thread. Decided it was worth bringing up again.
I thought w&cferb made a good point.

Although we have had an issue or two with our unit, we know that Crossroads will take care of it. Everything that needed repairing was done at the factory when we went to the rally last summer. Good reason to go to the rally.

We've had problem after problem with our crossroad, but they have taken care of us for the most part. At first it was a little scar, I felt crossroads wasn't doing enough, and didn’t care about my problems. But in the last 6 months they have been outstanding, overnighting parts, not questions repairs, and being very friendly on the phone. I do feel that they are moving in the right direction. I asked crossroads to extend my warranty an additional 6 months because it was in for repairs for so long, they ended up extending it an entry year for me. I was really impressed. From what I read online, every manufacture is having problems not just crossroads. I love our unit and happy we purchased it, but I just hope that this year of camping will be more at campgrounds rather than dealerships.

We were taken very good care of by Crossroads and I feel they went out of their way to take care of me. They offered to fix my problem for free if I could bring it to the factory or pay half of the bill for taking it to my local RV dealership.

I agree. We were fortunate to not have any major issues.
The minor issues (and even "personal preference" issue) were handled better than expected. It took a little while, but they stepped up.
This reason is a major one (as is the product quality) when we decided to purchase another, larger unit.
