New truck and trailer pictures
Well the 350 pulls like everyone said it would and to the point that I nearly got a speeding ticket. The only downside is that ( when my wife isn't looking )I've already started looking at larger trailers.
I've been attacked by the weight police a few times on other RV forums but I honestly have to agree now. While a smaller truck could have done the job having a big safety margin is very nice.

Very nice!! The only problem with having too much truck, is you end up looking at larger units because you don't know the trailer is back there. I know this, because it happened to me!

Nice looking rig! I like the way trailer manufacturers are adding a bit more color to the units. The white ones we have seen over the years were starting to get boring.

Best of luck. We just traveled 12000 mile Apr, May June and part of July. I really like my truck. Enjoy your rig. You can move up anytime. Have fun.

Nic looking truck. Yup, we got bit by the same bug. That bug has a very special poison and the only antidote is a shiny new fiver to match the shiny new truck!

I agree, I think that truck is just begging to have a 5th wheel hooked in the bed.

I've upgraded a number of times too, and it is a rewarding experience. Wife is already looking. I just reminded her about an expense she did not consider, the heavier rated hitch that can handle 20K. Keep all the upgrade costs in mind, but it is really fun to consider the possibilities.

Nice truck! I agree about having more power than needed. Why work a smaller truck hard? I have 2012 Chevy 6.0, 2500, looking to upgrade to the 6.6 Chevy 2500 diesel. Currently pulling around 10.000lbs.

For just a little more $ go for a 3500 long bed. It buys you a lot more capacity in both payload and hitch capacities. The long bed 2500 and 3500 can handle 2000 lb tongue weight on hitch vs short bed is limited to 1500 lbs. The long bed crew cab 3500 has 4100 lbs base payload whereas 2500 long bed crew cab only has 2500 lbs payload before adding passengers, gear etc. I just researched these this past spring.

Size does matter!!
If you like transmission problems tow a trailer that is the max GVW. The newer trucks have heavy duty transmissions but they are still the weakest component of the powertrain. I like to tow at 1/2 or 2/3rds of the max tow weight for peace of mind. I like fuel economy to..... my2cents

Owners manual says max conventional trailer weight 13,000 lbs. Does anybody know what exactly conventional trailer is?

Nice setup.
Here is our new setup, 2015 Zinger 27RL pulled by a 2012 Ram 1500 Quad cab 4x4 5.7l, running the Diablo tuner using the 87 tune.

The trailer hooked to your receiver hitch better known as a bumper pull vs a 5th wheel.

You guys are going to bankrupt me. LOL I can't wait for show season to start his winter.
I'm in no hurry to change I love our trailer so the next trailer will have to be something more special than just larger with more room.

They look great. And the trailer is sitting perfect, enjoy. It's nice to have the power to pull but even nicer when you can stop. I have more truck too but my wife finally gor the color back in her knuckles.
