Wow, that's too bad!
During our flood event in 2016 (Baton Rouge), I called the storage yard where my trailer is kept when the rivers were predicted for a record crest. They told me the yard had never flooded back 30 years. 12 hours later they called and said water was rising, come get the trailer. I got there just in time to drag it out of water 18 inches high at the trailer, and the site ended up under 5 feet.
I hope your insurance comes through!

That's too bad!! But at this point another another inch or two wouldn't make much difference, it's a total lose.
Just FYI, once the water subsides be VERY careful going inside, the OSB flooring material, after being saturated, will be like stepping in a bowl of oatmeal.
So sorry, Mother Nature can be cruel at times.

ouch ! hope you have flood insurance ! -document it well and don't accept a repair ! or the first low ball offer - remember contents - I see multiple insurance arguments in your future
And send that to north Texas, that MIGHT mitigate SOME of our drought.

Thanks everyone! Camper is only a year old. Thankfully no one was hurt. Many campers damaged from this. Insurance claim filed and waiting for adjuster. Not too excited to deal with all this, but hoping for the best. If anyone has any insights on the process, please share!

That's terrible. Best wishes for a quick and fair insurance claim. Best of luck.

Is this in western NC. I’m in Alleghany but we’ve not had anything like in the western state.

Just went to take a look at the damage. Not good at all. Adjuster is coming tomorrow. There is no way they can fix it.

Do not accept a discounted price - when they offered me a low ball offer, I said go find one in like condition of mine for that price - they couldn't and raised the offer... good luck !

Might want to remind adjuster that the mold problem that can’t be seen is a big concern. If they insisted to try repair I know I would ask for something in writing to pay for future medical bills caused by black mold. If it’s not totaled in their eyes; that should do it. Unless it was stripped to the frame and completely rebuilt there will be mold problems. And agree with no low ball offers.

The way these things are built the only way to replace the floor is to remove EVERYTHING above it.. The frames are brought in upside down, tanks, wiring, plumbing & axles installed, turned over & the floor with whatever floor covering installed, then all interior/exterior walls installed over floor covering.
So to me there's only 1 solution, TOTALED!

So sorry to see this!!!!
I have been in the building business for 30+ years and many, many insurance claims. Most companies are all the same and try to get out of paying for actual value.
This is definitely a total loss and no repairs to fix will be cheaper then replacing. If they fix, you will end up with a RV you could never sell for a good price.
Being it is this new they may have to pay actual replacement cost but every policy is different.
Also keep in mind if they do submit a total loss and replace you will have the option to purchase back for next to nothing if you want parts or to fix yourself. (will be a salvaged title) Most companies don't want to be bothered to haul away so you can make an offer.

Best of luck to you. The rain has been crazy. I'm outside Winston Salem and fortunately live on a hill.

No more rain please!!!
Well... adjuster couldn’t make it out on Monday like he said he would, so my wife took control. She went to camper and took tons of pictures and sent them to insurance. They came back with a couple of settlement offers & needless to say, we are still negotiating. Learning a little as we go. This weekend just won’t be the same without our camper. Planning on packing up the remaining items we can save. Not sure yet on what or if we will be able to replace our home away from home!
