Just watch what you put on the shelf when cooking. I melted an olive oil bottle that was sitting there. My wife was not too happy about it. At least it doesn't leak, I hope.

Yikes..... Yet another reason they should have dropped the inlet out the bottom. Now that you mention it, I did notice that as my 1lb bottle was draining, they start to frost up a little, the frost on top was starting to steam off slightly as the first bottle neared empty.... Perhaps they could have put a small heat shield in that spot. Then again, it was burning on high for an hour or so.

I went with the 36" Blue Rhino.
We usually have 6, sometimes 9 when we camp, I can cook a bunch at one time.
Has built in cover, that double as shelves. The legs fold up and store in the bed of my truck.
Love it.
Only downsides, it's a bit heavy and hard to keep regulated if the wind is blowing.
I also use it at home when not camping

I haven't seen the Blue Rhino Unit. Ill have to check it out on google. If I like using the griddle, I won't hesitate to add one to my collection ! She thinks I'm losing my mind, but I enjoy having options.... I currently own 2 electric smokers, and 3 grills, as well as a home made stainless grate for over a fire ring with my initials welded into the center, so theres never a dispute which steak belongs to me!! On my main grill at home, we roasted a 125lb pig 2 years ago, I think I want to be buried in this beauty. disregard my thumb in the pic.
I also need to put an addition onto my shed to house my coolers. I counted 7 in there last time I checked. I think I need to have a yard sale soon.

My solution to the small amount of space on the side shelf.... magnetic spray can holder, and 2 magnetic strips, bought at harbor freight. Holds my oil and water nicely, as well as my utensils.
