Yes it is true that at 30 to 40 they mileage improves. I have 70 on my 07 and at around 40 it went from 16 17 empty around town to 19. I stay away from Bio when I tried that mileage dropped three miles per gallon. Be careful what you add on to it. They went to smart computers in 2007 and they will record everything you do to that truck (Program wise)

Nice truck. I will tell you about an unknown little secret optoion with the Ram. You can open both front windows with your key fob (remote). Just push the door open once then push again and hold down. Watch your front windows go down. Nice to know when the truck has been sitting in the sun all day. I own a 2011 Ram 1500.

A mechanic at the dodge dealer told me that when any diesel comes in for warranty work, the first thing they check before starting any work is plugging in to the OBDII because most programmers leave a history.
2 years ago, I was at the fairgrounds watching a truck pull and the service manager from the dodge dealer was sitting in front of me. After a brand new dodge went racing down the track, I leaned over and told him he'll see that one in the shop tomorrow. His response was "he better bring his wallet, he left his warranty at the starting line." Don't think that driver could BS his way out of that one....
