Rain

I wish I could send a little moisture to everybody down there in TX.
We have received 4 in. this week, 3.75 in. last week, and 3.25 the week before.
I'm not complaining one bit either. This is way better then if it was the other way.
Mosquitoes just love it. I person has to be real cautious going outside. Darn things try to pick you up and take you home with them.

We have a major issues with mosquitoes here too. You finally get some nice weather and then you cannot enjoy the outdoors due to the pesky little buggers! It's not like we have had lots of rain here lately. It was a very cold and snowy winter here and apparently the mosquitoes thrived due to that. Go figure.

Lloyd-at least it's not snow!!!!

Mosquitos and no-seeums down here will eat you alive quite literally. My suggestion, use a little rubbing alcohol on the bites to help with the itching. Skin so soft from Avon works well as a bug repellent also (they make one that is a bug repellent sun block too).

We used rubbing alcohol when we fished Ontario. Worked real good for the noseeums. (i don't have a clue how to spell that one)
Avon skin so soft was given a try also, but we decided the deet was the best. Al-tho, if you used the skin so soft, you smelled better.

I saw a mosquito the other day with ticks under its wing. We're getting drowned down here in Tennessee. Wind, tornadoes, rain. I agree, I'll take this versus a drought any time, but I would like a couple of dry days mixed in here and there.

Send it on. We have a 40% chance tomorrow, but we will take some more. So far not too many mosquitoes.
