I just heard that Camping World RV Sales has signed to be an exclusive for the yearat the Lake County IL. Fairgrounds because of sales.

About two weeks ago we attended an RV show at the Lake County FG thinking it would be represented by many different dealers only to findout it was only by CW. Being it had free parking, free admission and my kids ate for free I guess I can't complain. However, they sold so many units in all ranges, they have signed for another couple of different weekends. Low and behold in today's mail another RV show at the Lake County Fairgrounds. I wonder if this one will be as attended as the first? Glad to see people are starting to spend money.

I do know that CW closed their Bollingbrook store a while back and are now only at Crystal RV.

That's exactly where they are at. I thought the show was ok, but just a little misleading thinking it was the Lake County RV show.I'm glad for them that sales have been rewarding and they signed an exclusive to be the only show there.

They also closed their Hamburg, N.Y. location. My wife and I stopped there once and were astonished by the building and their inventory. They were desperate to make a sale, but didn't have what we wanted, (CROSSROADS!!!), so we left.

Our dealer, Bob McKerrow's, has a smaller sales area, plus a display lot. Sales area is nice, and the lot is just that; an empty lot, but they seem to sell campers left and right. Something to be said for a hometown business, and bigger is NOT always better!

Went to the Milwaukee RV Show last week and I couldn't believe all the CR units there. Cruisers and Sunset from 2 different dealers (really surprised to see this), Cruiser CTX and Kingston. No Sevilles or SlingShots. Between the 3 dealers at least 10 units on display. Also was surprised to see that most mfg's are now offering a 2 year bumper - bumper warranty. Will CR now go 3 years?

SALDA01,

It seems that CR is confidently moving forward.

Take a look at this site.

By the way the CF31RE 10 you saw at the Milwaukee show should be in our drive way by April 1st. Got a nice trade and the Cruiser sure had plenty of extra features.I really liked the 16" alloy wheels and LR"E" tires the DW liked the floor plan.

See ya down the road.

I was really pretty impressed with the MWK show this year and it seemed that dealers were willing to spend so money and that people were serious looking. A friend of mine went to the motorcycle at the Rosemont Convention Center and he said is pretty sad. No Victory or Indian booths.
