Ok, we have about 4 RV shows coming up in the local area within the next 3 months. Do these shows help or hurt with "Winter Blues"????????????????? We are still very cold her in Virginia and I'm sure going to all the shows will just make me want to get the trailer out and go camping. We are not in the market to buy, but just can't stay away from the shows to kick the tires and see what is new and possible down the road.

Hope everyone is having a great winter and please post if you spot spring.

What's not to like?

See old friends, meet new ones, check out the latest features, confirm we made the right choice back in 2007, check out the campgrounds, listen to a presentation, eat food that tastes good but is bad for you (like those evil almonds). Sounds pretty good to me + gets me out in the cold (current temp is 9 degrees) weather, walking and climbing up and down RV stairs. Moderate exercise as a bonus.

Offers hope for spring, summer and fall filled with camping and friends and family. Sorry, I just don't see a downside to RV shows.

Went to the show in Tampa Fl. Saw the new Redwood and Rushmore. Also checked out all the cruisers. If I had lots of money and a great big truck I could go for the Redwood in a big way. Maybe on the way home we will hit the show in Hershey Pa.

cwit - if I see you pull into Eastern Slopes with a 2500HD and a nice big Cruiser I'll know what happened in PA!

Went to local RV show this weekend. Got to think about upcoming summer events. I do the samething for the motorcycle buzz in the winter.

The Hamburg, NY winter show is a "must see" for us every year. The only downside to this show is it's usually pretty cold, so we don't look at any of the outside units. Other than that, it's usually a fun time.

Martin and I are attending the Mid-America RV Show in Kansas City tomorrow. Even though we just purchased our 2011 CF27RLX and really have no need to look at any RVs. Maybe check out some accessories. We're itching to get on the road!

Also attending the International Motorcycle Show in Minneapolis, MN next weekend.

When I am not buying, I don't bother with the big shows in Seattle or Tacoma. Too many $$$'s for the parking and at the door. There is an annual show here in Monroe at the Fairgrounds during February that I take in. Not so expensive, not so crowded and a good cross section of different types and models. It's a good chance to see what's new, and get ideas for updates and modifications to my current rig.

We do not or to my knowledge ever have an RV show around here, the nearest one is in New Orleans all most 200 miles away. Our show is the internet and visiting dealers with in a 100 mile radius. CrossRoads nearest dealer is now a long way a way, and I would like to look at the Rushmore and the Redwood

You go out and get a job and right away the money starts burning a hole in your pocket.

Hey Frank, There are two Rushmores over here at Johnies RV sales in Summerdale next to the old Palm Lake RV park. Come on over and see them.

What can I say Lloyd, I even went out and got an estimate on filling up the tank and bought a pack of chewing gum Dale I hope to get down that way toward the end of April
I must say having a paid for unit is really nice How ever we have to keep the Lovly Janet away because she found this one, and talked me out of the tear drop into the Zinger . If I recall her exact words were (on the Tear Drop) If you think I am going in that and have to walk to a shower house in the middle of the night you need to rethink it
