Spring

I think spring is here again for another time/season.
I just finished planting four short rows of potatoes. Only amounted to about 4 dozen hills, but that will be more then enough for us.

Looks good, but I'm the only one here that would eat it. Been spring here for many, many weeks. There are still plenty of bluebonnets out but past their prime. The trees have shed last year's leaves and filled out with new ones. But one more died from the 2011 fire that I'll have to cut down. Hope everyone has a great spring.

Never had Rhubarb. Shocking since I'm in Ohio. Is it sweet or more like cranberries?

This probably is the best rhubarb crisp I have ever eaten. It's real young and tender.

You might say how sweet it is, depends on how much sugar is used when baking.

Just to add to it---rhubarb is quite acidic. So anybody that has a problem with heart burn/acid reflux --enjoy in moderation.
