The under-inflated footballs were used only in the first half of the game, the second half was played with properly inflated footballs. The Patriots scored 17 points in the first half and 28 points in the second half. I think this is much ado about nothing.
I wonder if the balls are weighed at halftime at all the NFL games? Probably would find many under-inflated balls.
Time for people to get over it.

Mark the way I see it,
It doesn't make any difference whether the balls are/were/was etc
weighed at half time or not. They were under inflated--period.
With Belichick's history on how far he is willing to go to win, I don't think anybody will be willing to put this to rest, or get over it until there is some resolution.

Now I see they are sayting something about a ball handler...My theroy is the 11 deflated were for Brady, and the 12 ball that was the correct PSI was in case they had to kick a long field goal...That's my story and I'm sticken to it...

Is that one of the balls Brady picked for the game against the Seahawks.

The last 20--30 seconds of that game was enough to make a person ill.

It reminded me of the game where Brett Farve took the snap from center, turned around and ran towards the opponents goal line, then turned back around and with out looking heaved it has far as he could.
Yep, it was intercepted! End of game!

Congratulations to the New England Patriots...That was the best fought Super Bowl I have seen in a while...I have only two more comments and they are::::Pete Carroll needs his head examined for passing the ball that close to the end zone and not running Lynch...and the other is, I am partly of Irish lineage and very proud of that, but one Irish name that I am sick of hearing is Brady, and now that he has SINGLE-HANDEDLY won four Super Bowls, from now to the end of time every time someone says the word FOOTBALL they will also say the word __ __ __ __ __....

Like I have said in the past-----there is a lot of BIG money riding on these games. That was the only call they could have made to make look legit.

Anybody with an oz. of sense would have give the ball to M. Lynch.
If, it was all on the up and up.
There, I'm done.

Just a tidbit, 109 passes this season in pro games inside the 2 yd line, only 1 was intercepted. Odds looked pretty good!
However odds on Marshon getting 1.5 yds also looked good. Maybe thought it would catch Pats off guard.
Personally glad they threw it! Go Pats!

You all know we're I stand. Great 4th quarter comeback poor choice by Coach Carroll but a awesome defensive play by Butler.
It was a pick game no odds not sure I buy into Lloyds opinion but we all have one so he is entitled.

After reading articles about Seattle coach Pete Carroll being linked to "truthers" they deserve to loose all their games. Especially the Super Bowl.

That all depends: Does badgering a former four-star general about whether 9/11 was real make one a truther?
