Lloyd,
Everyone is welcome to come for a barn dance, and there may be music, but you may also be dancing with tools in your hands. Each day is pretty tiring, so we are lucky to be standing by the end of the day. After much red tape with the county we are getting mulch from the road cleanup crew, so Monday and Tuesday we spread three truck loads plus grass seed. We have three more loads sitting and more yet to be delivered.

If the commute wasn't so far I would be more then willing to be working with you.
You must be spreading mulch on more then just your place. That is a lot of mulch. I'm taking it you are talking dump truck loads? AND, yes, I can believe your butt is dragging at the end of each day.

Yes, dump truck loads, the size all tree services use. That only covered about 20% of what we need on our 1.5 A. I hope to install most of the windows tomorrow or Monday, the frames are ready.

Today, the RV port door was installed. Took a lot longer than expected, the installer arrived missing one section, somehow a 11-1/2 ft. door doesn't work in a 13-1/2 ft opening. However, what a big milestone, thanks to all the forum members that have helped with the rebuild.
There is still a lot of trim that needs to be installed, should be finished in a few days. My tasks are behind schedule also, unable to work the past week including a trip to the ER. But we are still making great progress.

What a wonderful looking RV port!!!!!!!!! I wish mine looked that good. I guess I just better be thankful I've got one.
Things are looking good down there. Sorry to hear you ended up in ER. Hopefully things got straightened out.

Great looking rv port. Looks like your new camper is going to have a comfy place to stay. Sorry to hear you had a trip to the ER. Hopefully nothing serious and you are on the mend.

18ft wide, all the slides will be open so we can live in the Cruiser inside the RVport. 44ft long vs. 34ft for the Cruiser. Finished wiring some inside lights today, still need to wire the 50 amp RV circuit and run power for the door openers and flood lights while I have a scaffold available.

Lloyd,
Rebuilding is a long road, getting something better in the end is the blessing that makes it seem like a good road to travel. I would never have spent the time and money on a better RVport while the old one was standing, but we will certainly enjoy the new one every single day.

Well, the steel shell is not quite finished. Some of the trim for the RVport was damaged so we are waiting for replacements. 50 amp service is done along with garage and RVport lights, outlets and power for the door openers. Got the storm door on yesterday and the sewer line in today, still need to run the 1" line for the RV macerator pump. We had hoped to move back by Thanksgiving, but that did not happen.
Now, we are looking at moving back just before Christmas. But that is due to another wonderful blessing. Six fellow TBM members have decided to spend the 2nd week of Dec. doing the inside framing and rough wiring for the house. They are coming from across the state and will stay here at the camp. We will use the garage and RVport for material storage and working space. So, by year's end we should be further along than expected. Also, we have plenty of rye grass coming up thru the mulch, just have a bunch more to spread.

It sure looks good a what a blessing to have your TBM members help you during this time. I am sure your group has worked together before and when in need all come running. Hope you will be done and have lots of pictures to show in April.
Be safe

Larry,
I cannot speak for anyone but myself but I eagerly await your information filled updates and pictures.
It is good to hear that some of that giving you do has come back to you via the three TBM folks coming your way.

Larry, things look great compared to what they looked like a week after the fire when Beverly and I were out there! Keep the pictures coming. Oh and as promised below is a link to what Hal and I were able to accomplish in the three weeks we had for the project despite several delays due to rain or high winds. Not near the scope of what you are doing but not bad for two old guys.
