I'm not sure, but it's probably more then a GM can carry.

Personally, I am so conflicted since I have (and had) two of the big three...

Loved, loved, LOVED the platinum 350's everything in a pickup...
big hp/torque to drag around 16k lbs of 5'er, heated rear seats, heated and COOLED front seats - what's NOT to love...
and now LOVE the twin turbo ecoboost in the Explorer sport...

but also LOVE the 1250 lbft of torque that moves our 'mobile home' pictured below around

so I can't trash ford or cummins....
but we CAN tag team the few gmc/chevy's - they are fair game

Forgive them John. They cannot help themselves. The rest of us can only feel blessed that we have seen the light in this matter.

Yep,with the horse power and torque Ford's getting out of a 6 cylinder, I'd be worried about the body too if I was sitting in a GMC.

I'm not letting them load blocks in there like that...
I want to USE the blocks if I'm buying them and they would be damaged too

Ok I'll bite, I have a 2008 Ford F350 with the 3 valve, V10. Best choice I have made. Zero issues, only maintenance for the motor is typical change intervals and plugs every 80k. No injector issues, expensive maintenance, removing the cab for service, etc.

It will pass everything but a gas station but I'm ok with that.

My son has been wanting to get a GMC 3500 to replace his F-150. He has my old TT now, but he wants to get a larger camper soon. He stopped by my house a little while ago to show me his new toy. GM must not be as hard pressed to get rid of their 2016 heavy duty pickups as Ford because they don't have the incentives that Ford does. So, he said he had to settle for an F-250 Lariat. It is equipped almost as good as my Silverado. It just lacks the DVD player in the back seat. It's an SRW crew cab diesel.

Yea fortunately! If I bought a Ford my feelings would definitely be hurt, nauseated, & have to wear a bag over my head.
