It is that time of year once more, and the lady I am married to is a major foot ball junkie, Last year we went with Direct TV for her. I have ordered a Vue Qube today for her, When we use it will the pictures still freeze up on the tv??? Since the change this has become a real pain when watching tv at night. Has any body out there using this ???? thank You

Frank, we have a regular Directv dish and our TV picture does not freeze up at night. The only time we have any issues is if we have a heavy thunderstorm and the dish can't pickup the signal from the satellite through the cloud cover. I know Ed Luskey was talking about getting a Vue Qube at one point but don't know if he ever did.

I looked up the VuQube and it has got me interested. I have read thereare some limitations on using a dual tuner receiver which is all we have (DishNetwork VIP722). Anyone using this receiver and what "issues" do you have? Sounds like a great system.

Frank...That's a good price.I assume they give you the full warrantee? Post a reply when you get it hooked up and working. I would be interested in knowing your thoughts and type of receiver you will be using.

STan it has a 60 day warranty with it. My theroey is being electronic it is going to work or not. I am going to use the receiver out of the bedroom. I was going to buy another receiver off ebay and change the card over, but I have been told that the receiver and cards are a mated pair. If I find one cheap enough, I might still try it out.
