Was trying to find the news article, but remember recently a family suing Walmart as a boondocker that was parked in their lot, moved his RV closer in to a parking spot to shop. There was something in the RV (camp stove?) still warm and caught the rig on fire. Along with a neighboring vehicle the family left their child asleep in (alone). Unfortunately, the child perished.
Needless to say, situations like this is why no one will be allowed to boondock on property for lawsuit reasons.
