A year can make.
As I sit here looking out the window at MORE snow coming down, I can't help but think back to last year when we were busy getting ready for the trip to the rally in TX. Snow was long gone by this time, and the temperatures were up in the 60s and 70s. ST. Patrick's day was 80 degrees. I had been outside and in the shed working on the camper installing new wheel bearings and seals, adjusting brakes, and touching up the caulk.
Not this year!! Boy what a difference.
If it sounds like I have a bad case of cabin fever--- I do.

I feel your pain. Sorryabout sendingthe snow your way, but it's melting like crazy here. Forecast 58 today. Sitting here looking across at the ski area and planning our spring trip. Will leave NLT 4-13, probably sooner. That's what's keeping me sane plus my one month solo trip in Feb. Keep the faith!

Lloyd,

See there, you should have headed south like you were originally considering. Here, it is supposed to be near 90 by Monday. Be thankful you have the snow, we would be happy with snow, rain or any kind of moisture.

Lloyd,
I too feel your pain, but in less than a month the DW will be retired...and then we will be off right after that. Oh, did I mention I am going down tomorrow to sign the papers for my new CF34SS.

I can't pick it up until the snow melts enough for me to get my28RKX out of the storage area where I have it stored.I'll be checking the storage area every few days in hope the snow melts enough so I can pull it out and take it down. As you might guess we have an awful lot to move from the old unit to the new unit. But, it will be a labor of love I'm sure. Now I have to worry about learning how to handle a 5th wheel LOL

Hang in there Lloyd,
Jim

Have faith Lloyd better days are coming. I sure hope my recent forecast is incorrect. At some point I need to know why Frank likes to tease you about Flying Jay. Been there done that it works in a pinch, when you need to make miles. Go Well.

Thanks Al, went down and paid them for it today...they are going to have to wait a couple weeks for me to get my 28RKX down to them, it is still snowed in...but, we're not leaving WI until April 19th so we have some time. We're scheduled to be in Mystic, CT on May 28th, we'll be staying at Seaport Recreation CG for 7 days...from there on to Cape Cod, then Gloucester, then Acadia...and on and on and on LOL

Hope to see you down the road some day Al,
Jim

You guys are making me jealous as we still have snow and are picking our unit up April 25 hoping we can get it into our stall at the golf course if it dries up enough. Then south to AZ in October, just keep it down about your camping soon it gets tough to imagine.

That's okay folks, we just got another big dump of snow and with the windchill is -24c. So our camping season will not start till most likely middle of May or end of May and finish in middle of September. I drive by the 5th wheel and just sigh and wish

Happy St Patrick's day! We just got back from camping. It was at least 75 degrees yesterday for the campground parade. Last weekend was 68 degrees when we were camped on the lake. What is this snow thing you guys are talking about?

Speaking of ST Patrick's day---Local radio station said it was 8 below zero yesterday morning. Last year on that day the high was 80 above. Hard to imagine there could be an 88 degree difference.

Albert,
I was looking for a campground in Quebec City and was surprised when I came across one camprground that said "Open June 1st...closed Sept 1st" Now that is a short season. On the other hand I have booked one in Montreal that opens May 15th and is open to Oct 1st...these 2 cities don't seem that far apart...perhaps the campground is owned by teachers and this is a summer gig for them LOL

Travel Well,
Jim
