Been watching the developments on the news and wanted to make sure Stan and Terri (Stan on forum)were OK. Not really sure where the mudslides, erosionare in relation to Oak Harbor but we are praying all is well.

WOW..It's great to have so many people concerned! We are fine. The
slide was about 10 miles south of us (right next to Steve Balmer's
house). That area has a lot of nice house's but unfortunately this size
of slide is really rare so most don't have landslide/earthquake
insurance. It's a bit odd since we haven't had that much rain this
winter but we did have 2-3" of snow about ten days ago so maybe that is
what triggered it.

I sent a note to KennyB on this forum (Ken and Marilin) who live in Coupeville but have not heard back. Hope they are unaffected as well.

Thanks all for thinking of us.

I did hear from KennyB and he and Marilyn are fine. They are about 6-8 miles from it.
