I have a 2004 Crossroad Cruiser 27 CFL Fifth wheel. I went camping this weekend and noticed the AC was not cold. The compressor is working and the unit is clean. It is not pulling any moisture out of the air. I brought it to a local shop and said that no one touch or repair an AC unit and that I would have to replace the entire rooftop unit.. $1,050.00. This seems excessive but I have some big trips coming up and want to make sure this is not an issue this summer. Has anyone had similar problem?

Have any friends in the HVAC business or appliance repair business? Not much difference between fridge / freezer and home A/c units. Could be a freon leak. Edited by: salda01
