2006 Zinger electrical issues.

We bought a used '06 Zinger. we towed it home thinking everything worked just fine. But plugged it in and only the microwave shows life. I reset all of the breakers including the Main. Checked fuses which all were good.

Why would just micro work? no lights no slide - am I missing a master switch somewhere. I am plugged into a 20 amp gfi -could it be insufficient. Could in be a bad inverter even if the micro works? Very puzzling.

I would make a list of everything that does or does not work. Outlets, 12v lights, 120v lights, etc. Then start checking for proper voltage from the source all the way to the converter. Check both sides of fuses and breakers. You may need to call an electrician if your not comfortable with electrical circuits.

Check the GFCI breakers, they are built into the electrical outlets. There are usually two. On my unit one is in the bathroom and the other is in the kitchen area.

Lights and slide are 12 volt ,...micro is 110 volt from house plug. is there power at 110 plugs? there is a breaker for the converter that should have 110 v power at the screw that the wire is screwed to ...check that there is 110 volt there. Do the lights work if you are not plugged in? or if you are plugged into the truck? there could be a battery shut off switsh installed ...usually on the tongue or at the battery/...

I'm with Harley. Sounds like there is a 12 v issue since the items the OP listed that do not work are 12v items. Is your battery fully charged? Are the battery wires hooked up correctly. Many units have the battery wires the opposite of what a car battery would be (if I remember correctly the black on mine was positive and the negative was white?). The electrical outlets work off of 110 v from land power or generator. Do the outlets have power to them?
