We are waiting delivery of our 2012 cf31qb. We are going to put 2nd a/c unit. Would like to know from owners that have 2nd a/c benefit or disadvantage of the 2nd a/c being stand alone or ducted into the system. Our has 2nd air prep 50 amp. Thanks

I had a 2nd A/C unit installed, both are 15K and both are ducted in the ductwork, the ducted A/C is more expensive but I did not want the cols air blowing down on the bed...the drawbacks...there aren't any......I run both units at the same time, never had a problem, ans would never consider a unit with just one unit..

When we bought our '10 Seville, first thing we told the dealer to install was a 2nd a/c. Learned lessons the hard way on the Colorado river, 115 degrees, 1 a/c, 95 degrees inside, very warm. Whether or not you don't think you will ever use it, get it now, good resale item also.

I also had second A/C installed. But I live in TEXAS. Love it. Duct into system. Won't go with once unit here . My only problem was the the dealer install. Took three trips to dealer before they got it going. I sure wish it could have come from factory installed inteadof local. As you can see and feel, this local install sure wasn't smooth.

Where was the dealer in Texas. I am debating if I want it done by the dealer we are buying the rv from or from the local Cross Roads service center near where I live.
