30sk improvement suggestions

Dont get me wrong we are extreamly happy with our new camper but i thought you 30sk owners needed a place to post "things you would change" on your camper.Ive started my own list. please feel free to add to it and suggest our own !! I plan on giving mine to someone during the factory rally in august. Hope to see ya there!!!

1.light switches and some other swtiches should not be mounted inside a service door in the cabinit. I can see the monitor pannel and the water heater controals and the awning and slide room controals but to have to open a door to turn a light on 2 in the main area and the awnning lights is in my book silly and cumbersom.

2 .the camper could be 2' longer specifickly 1' on either side of the bed.

3.an optional power vent lid maby with a switch in said service pannel for the kitchen ill never climb up that high to crank that lid up! maby a bigger skylight with no crank?

4.The cusisons on the couch are waaaaaay too long and as ya sit on them they scoosh foward nomatter how far ya stuff them in! They need to be 2" shorter and filled with something more comfortable i have every intention of this being my first real fix if the cussions dont work a whole new hidabed or something will be there!!!

Bob the wife also did not want to drag out a step stool every time to open or close she went to lowes and bought a sprinkler valve shut off to reach up and do the job it takes a little to get used to but works great until we put a rain sensor in


Already done are the cabinet doors over water heater and water pump got the idea from Hamops post added pics of ours.

Cubby under the sink

Want to get a sewer storage pipe and a poo pod per chucknwined however we have not decided which way we want to mount the sewer pipe length wise or cross ways.

I dont remember who recommended changing the duct from foil to hard pipe in the storage to keep from poking a hole in it,however thats done now.

Radiant heat keeps the water console and piping warm under the underbelly however there is very little insulation around the storage area we plan to line that area with 1/2" Styrofoam will post pics when we get to that project .

Most of the projects people come up with are about a day long and provide instant gratification you see results immediately when done unlike my project car in the driveway.

That way I get to spend time with my newest hobby when i cant be camping with it So many people with this unit coming up with good ideas to make the camping experience more enjoyable.The reality is we all loved this unit when we walked in and saw all that room.
Keep posting all the good ideas and if we get to carried away we will have to buy bigger trucks if they get to heavy I really doubt this will happen.Looking forward to new ideas

oops the picture came out to big anyway it has a triangle handle on the end and we hang it on the coat rack when not in use will put in a hanger to hold it later

I also suggested to Crossroads that they find a way to eliminate the table between the chairs so once setup up you could switch the location of the sofa bed and chairs to better view the entertainment center from the chairs. I realize this means relocating the fresh water fill and the water pump.

That handle that you bought for opening the kitchen vent is a great idea. I'll have to look for one myself. If I decide to open that vent, I usually use the broom handle but it's pretty cumbersome.

I used a piece of PVC, cut out the center at one end to make a "notch" that the vent handle would fit into. Easy to use, stores under the table seat.
