The forum has been the go to place for me, thanks to all of the experts out there! Now a question I havent been able to find an answer for...
Our fiver recently began leaking condensation at the main A/C vent/return. It normally runs off the roof and drips off the back corners. Now there is a steady/significant drip inside. I removed the A/C cover on top and looked around and found nothing that appeared to be the culpret. While I had the cover off, I blew out the A/C coils and cleaned around the base of the roof unit.
Since I didnt have any luck on top, I removed the inside A/C vent cover and air filter housing. I noticed condensation was pooling in the A/C mounting bracket and was dripping inside from that point, but none of the wood or other materials were wet. After thorough inspection with a flashlight, I could not determine where the condensation was originating or how it was getting pooled to the mounting bracket. Has anyone ran into this issue or know of likely causes/solutions?
I also double checked the fiver with 2 different levels and the fiver is sittinglevel side to side and is approx 1" low on the back end or 1" high on the front - depending on your preference.
Thanks!
