Anyone else having issues keeping this area sealed shut around the edges? The ABS underside cover around the pinbox/bedroom keeps splitting the caulking around the cap seam and edges. It seems to hold for a bit then crack open again. My guess is frame flex when being pulled since there really isn't any screws near the cap holding the ABS to the underside. All the screws are from the pin box back and there are only 4.
Any idea's how to keep this sealed or if it's common?

Michael, I just washedthe Cruisera couple of weeks ago and don't recall seeing any problems. I'll checkit when I get home Wednesday and let you know here.
Thanks - I poked around the lot and I did see some that had this issue and other's that did not. I can't tell if it's flex or simply contraction of the material when it gets to 50 degree's in the day and 15 degrees at night....

Thanks Stan - I suspect the same. I wonder why they didn't use that metal strip to cover the cap/ABS seam to screw INTO the ABS to hold it still? I will let the factory check it out next month when it's there.

If its expanding/contracting that much with temp change, then it may be like some wood joinery...you have to allow for this. Otherwise, the material itself will begin splitting/tearing.
Our 08 32BL is doing the same thing. I think taking the moldings off and using butyl tape and then reinstalling the molding is the way to fix
Now that's a good idea. I'm afraid to remove the screws in the metal strip since it appears the screws that hold it were inserted at every angle imaginable and some loosen on their own.

I've noticed that some of the screws are coming loose as well. I think that it's from the flexing of to trailer frame. I've used glue to keep the screws from loosing off after I tightened them. Now it's "wait & see".

When we got our trailer back in Junetwo of the screws around the pin box had never even hit anything when installed. I ended up removing all the screws and drilling the holes out and installing larger aluminum rivets. I then re-caulked the area around the pin box and have had no issues since.
