Anderson hitch

For those of you with an Anderson hitch. It appears to me the hitch has an adapter that fits the fifth wheel kingpin, and latches onto a 2 5/16 ball. Am I correct? I want to adapt my Kubota front end loader to move our Rushmore. Thinking I could buy the Anderson connector and simply weld a ball on top of my loader bucket. BTW, the loader is rated at 4500 lbs. 54 HP 4WD tractor.

Then you would have to remove the adapter everytime you hooked up to your TV. Easier to cut a hole in the top of the bucket the 5th wheel hitch will go into. If there is no flat spot weld a 6"x6" 1/4 or 3/8" plate and cut thru it and the bucket. Much cheaper

Thanks for your response. Very good idea. I think I have a piece of 6” heavy channel I can weld on the bucket. That will strengthen it. Thanks!

At the dealers they have a flat bar on there fork lift that has a short piece of pipe welded to it that cups the king pin you could weld a plate on top of the bucket with a piece of 3" pipe about 2" deep A lot cheaper than the Anderson coupler that cost about $150.00
