Contacted Crossroads about poor TV reception with Jensen Omni-Directional antenna. They agreed on replacement sending a "bat wing" antenna to my dealer for installation.

Dealer said this was second Cruiser they had in for replacement and

could not install because of angle of roof which would cause adjustment handle inside to be on angle.

Has anyone replaced Jensen antenna with batwing on angled roof?

How was it retrofitted?

I have a CF30ES 5er.

Thanks for reply,

JIM

I investigated that on mine. From the location is appears that the handle would come down inside the cabinate above the TV. Onbly solution to that would be torelocateit. My roof is angled but so is the ceiling on the inside. I'll have to hit them up if they are replacing them with batwings.

My

dealer wouldn't replace mine under warranty because "it worked" even though

it wouldn't work for stations more than 20 miles away. Even said there was no

problems with Jensen antennas.</span>
I

replaced it myself last Sept.<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /></span>

My

roof is on an angle and I had no problem. The bat wing covered the holes from

the Jensen.</span>

Bat

wing works great. Think I could get them to re-reimburse my cost of the

batwing?

After talking to Crossroads &amp; Randy a few times about the bad reception of the Jensen omni antenna, they finally agreed to replace it with a batwing. They sent it directly to my dealer who swapped it when my 5er was about a year old. They mounted it where the omni was even though the roof was on an angle. It works perfectly because the inside ceiling is at the same angle. When the antenna is up it stands at a slight angle, but still works good.
