I just bought a new 2009 Zinger 19RD. It has a Atwood dual hot water heater. The control panel were you can pick between electric or gas has a light between the two switches. It doesn't come on..the light. is it suppose to? The book shows a blue wire from it (the light) to the hot water heater. Any ideas?
The hot water heater will try to light three times, If it does not light the light will come on to show you that it did not light, Most times you can just turn it off and back on and it will blead the air out of the line and take off the second time.
I wish the switches were lighted when in the on position. It would make it easier to remember to turn off when your leaving the campground.
Agreed. It would be better if it was on when working and off when there is a problem or you turn it off. I wonder if there is a way thatit could be reversed If no answer here, I'll try to remember to bring it up at the factory rally in august.
Just replace these switches with ones that light up when they are on

Those rocker switches should be available at you local auto parts store, or they can order them for you. Some truck stops would have them. They have been used in the transpotation field for years
