Awning arm replacement...&...silicone???
So, as most of you know I had to have the awning arms replaced on my 2016 Cruiser. When they were replacing them at Camping World in Statesville N.C. I noticed that they had used clear silicone over the screws on the outside that holds the brackets to the camper. I ask the guy installing the arms if he used some silicone in the holes as well to prevent leaks and he said he did. Now I'm wondering and second guessing whether he did or not and if there is something that I could use over the screws that's better. The problem is the awning arms are dark brown and anything but clear or dark brown would look crappy. But I want to make sure this doesn't become a problem later.
