Awning cleaner

Looking for a foam awning cleaner. Something i can spray on and let it sit and soak in without running off. Any suggestions. When I clean my awning it seems I get wetter than the awning.

I use liquid dishwasher detergent. Unroll her, wet her down, squirt and brush in the detergent, and roll her back up for 4 to 6 hours for a good soak. Wind her back down and rinse the daylights out. Leave it down to dry well and good to go. Been doing this for over 30 years on 3 TT's with no problems.

I do basically the same except use Simple Green concentrate mixed as directed (maybe a bit stronger if really dirty) in a 1 gallon sprayer, saturate it as you roll it up, leave for 30 minutes to a couple hours & unroll, scrub with a medium bristle brush if needed & rinse throughly.
Use the same method on the roof minus the rolling/unrolling it!

Awning cleaner

On my awning I use a product call 30 Seconds. Open the awning, spray the awning, a good coating, roll the awning up let it sit for 15 minutes. And just spray it clean with a normal water hose. Works incredible..

Looks like a good one.
In all the years I have had campers it never occurred to me to wet down and roll the awning up
I guess I’m just a slow learner

Camco makes a good awning cleaner. It is a liquid and it really did wonders on my awning to remove mold, black streaks, and dirt in general. The cleaner is cheap and Walmart usually has it in stock. I have always had good luck with any Camco product and it is safe on the awning.

Are you fellows cleaning a vinyl or fabric awning? I've done it on a vinyl awning with good results , but never on a fabric awning.
