On my 3rd set. After they fail, and I'm sure they will, I will buy an aftermarket set and attach below awning on wall.

Yes, we own a 2014 ST270BH with led awning lights that have frequently failed us. The fuse keeps blowing at the switch. Mine is currently on it's last warranty fix at the dealer. They have attempted to fix it twice now and refuse to replace the led light strip on the awning. I troubleshot it with a multi meter and found a short at the connection to the lcd strip itself which would mean the strip needs replacing. That would explain the fuse blowing all the time.

Yeah, the LED lights were a great idea that doesn't really hold up in the wild. If I had the time I'd make a standard adapter for the cheap LED strips they sell online to just plug and play into the connector LSI put on the awning..I'd make a mint.
LSI sells the OEM replacement strip for around $70 online. The cheap strip on Amazon is 12 bucks.

My current rig has the LED's factory installed, and on a previous camper I added them on myself. They look great and I am sure they are used and enjoyed by many of those that have them, but for all the time I had them on my camper I used them maybe once or twice. I do love sitting outside in the evenings for a little while, but as long as there is enough light to find my favorite grain based beverage - it's all good.

I have the $20 RGBW Amazon strip with color changing chillout mode, rave mode, and full blown seizure induction mode. It's been held up for a year now with mounting tape along the length and a zip tie on either end.

Response I got from my salesman is "The whole RV industry is having problems with these light and he will note it." Not much of a fix!

I have one Of those too. I just had to replace my first set after it failed. Still a much better investment!

My LED's held up for the first year and a half but the last trip they are starting to go out. I am not sure if I use them enough to spend the time or money fixing. Here in Texas they are so bright that they really attract the bugs. We usually have 3 or so tiki lights going when we are outside.

I have the 2016 38SB Carriage with LCD/Linkpad controls which includes the awning lights. Both of the two awnings lights will not come on and the display panels show red for the on/off controls. There is no manual switch (and I also discovered that the LCD Panels do not work on 12 volts). There is no fuse blown that I can find. Crossroads says take it to the dealer. This new technology is leaving much to be desired.

I wonder if all the LED problems are a product of a lot of use or a bad batch of LEDs. I'm inclined to the latter. My awning lights are going on 3 years working fine. I've added a lot of strip and single bulb LEDs (all the cheapest ones on Ebay) and they all work fine. I like the strips so much I added them to the basement and a couple of closets in my house with no problems. I put under counter lights (from Amazon and Lowes respectively) in two different kitchens where they were on 14 hours a day without problems. I do think the RV industry bought a few container loads of bad ones though. I know a lot of people have trouble with LEDs but I think a larger number are satisfied, at least with aftermarket ones. There is no way to get a scientific survey of course. Forums tend to deal with failures rather successes. Anybody else getting value out of LEDs or is it just me? I always say, I'm living proof that it's better to be lucky than smart.
