Battery Replacement
Battery registers 0 volts on my meter. Will have to replace it. What battery has other bought for their Rv and are you satisfied with it?
Brand, type, and size would be appreciated. No need for dual 6volts either. Don't dry camp ever.

I have used several brands, Interstate, Excide, Duracell and Deka, 24 & 27 class deep cycle. The interstate battery seem to do well but didn't seem to live more then about 2 or 3 years before dying. The Excide battery seem to hold a charge longer then the Interstate battery and lasted longer but had a hard time getting it to take a full charge even when I put it on a charger sitting on the work bench. I currently have two 6 volt Duracell's in the trailer that I use to run our inverter and have been extremely please with the performance. They hold a good charge for a long period of time even during use. I'm not sure on the longevity of the batteries as of yet, we only started using them last fall. I also run a set of cheap 12 volt batteries for the house power that the dealership put in. I figured I would use them till they die and then replace them with a couple of the Duracell 12 volt. I have had Deka batteries in our truck for quite a few years now and I have had used them in other vehicles with good results. I have gotten 5 to 6 years out of these batteries with no issues. These are a little on the pricey side but have worked well.

Just get a quality deep-cycle (Exides have worked well for me).
Also, if you have and Advanced Auto nearby, purchase the battery online for store pickup and use promo code TRT30. This will save you 30% on the battery

I replaced mine with 12 interstate AGM,s when the factory ones crapped out. They are working good and no bottles of distilled water to mess with

Reason I asked--you stated 12, in one of your previous posts.

Not sure how far you are from a Costco Wholesale, but I know a lot of people who buy their deep cycle's from there. They set a calendar reminder in their phone for the month before the warranty ends and take them back for new ones. Costco doesn't test them and just gives you new ones. Some of these guys said they haven't "purchased" batteries in forever.
