Replaced the Chinese tires on my cruiser when i bought it 2 years ago with BF Goodrich 235/85's and all has been well until I got a factory recall notice this week - now those tires cannot be found

Discount tire recommends replacing with Yokahoma's of the same size - anyone have any experience with yokahoma's or have any recommendations

tks

They use to make a great motorcycle tire at one time

As long as they were LT tires and a highway tread and not all terrain I would think they would be fine.

The local Discount Tire store has ordered replacement BFGs for my fiver, should be here in a few weeks. They told me I would have to pay the cost difference if I switched brands. I can afford to wait right now, but if they don't get the replacement BFGs, I'll ask them to cover the difference. Probably go with Ribs if that happens.

Interesting - Discount Tire here indicated that all i would have to pay would be $20 per tire for the road hazard warranty - they said that BFG had not manufactured enough tires to accomodate the recall so there's no telling how long it would take to get replacements from BFG
