Big Storms, water coming in a strange place pt. 2

We had some violent storms come through South Louisiana this morning with winds clocked over 70mph and very heavy rainfall, and after things settled down I went to check on the trailer (270BH).

There was a small amount of water near the front door. I looked all around the vents, closets, doors, windows, and skylights with no sign of leakage. I examined the roof and all looked well, added a little lap sealant here and there to be sure. When I lifted the cover to the hot water shut off valves, I saw water inside where it is usually dry, and ultimately traced water from there, along the bed frame/floor connection, to where it ultimately pooled. NOT a lot of water, maybe a quarter cup.

The only thing I can figure is that the combination of fierce wind and heavy rain blew the water into the exterior hot water cover. There was water sprayed inside the cover, but I'm still unsure how it got inside the trailer. Anyone seen this before?

We had another round of storms this evening and I'm told we had pea sized hail. Anyone know how these rubber roofs manage in that?

We had some pea sized hail a few weeks ago. I was more worried about our vehicles. No damage.

It probably came in thru water heater opening. I noticed I can see daylight around my water heater from inside when the cover is open.

I may need to investigate and address it.
