Bigger Bathroom Sink
I'm tired of moping up the water from trying to use the 10"x13" bathroom sink. The faucet takes up half the width of the 10" distance. And I'm real tired of brushing my teeth, shaving and washing my face in the kitchen sink.
I'm considering replacing the vanity counter top and then adding a vessel sink with a tall faucet. I would mount the faucet off to the NE corner of the sink like in the 2nd photo attached.
The vessel I'm considering is 14"x19" and the faucet spout is 9.5" above the counter top (4.5" above the top edge of the sink). The vessel and faucet combined are about $112. I can make a counter top fairly easily.
Has anyone done this and can tell me how successful the vessel is at containing all the splashing?
thanks,
Dustin
