When you say it is leaking thru, does that mean whenyou take the cap off to empty the tanks you get a suprise? I had that problem. The black tank should be direct under the toilet and there may be an access door in the bottom membrane to access that valve. It could be as easy as adjusting the cable to close the valve all the way or it could be something blocking the valve from closing all the way. My cable does not stay in when i close the valve, it pops back out on its own about a half inch. I bought atwist on valterra gatevalve that goes on the end of the drain tube then theend cap twistsonto it. That was an easierfixfor me than trying take the membrane down to access the valve.
My front dump valve was recently replaced under warranty. The factory valve was on the door side of the Cruiser. The shop put on a new valve about six feet closer to the drain connection. So far, so good.

On my 2012 its straight across from the dump handle, oppsite side (door side). The cable made a big "u" shape to get over to it. you will probably have to drop the front and part way down each side of the under belly.

If I'm not mistaken, your system has remote handles for operating the dump valves. It's possible that you black water dump valve cable has come loose from the fixed grip mounting point so when you operate the handle the whole cable moves. I had this happen on another fiver that used the remote handle system.

Thanks for the information, and just to let yall know I washed the black tankwith the jet washer for about 20 minutes and after that the valve worked fine. For insurance I also bought the twist on Valterra gate valve.

wgriffi8, one other thing to remember since you bought the Valterra is that if your shower tank fills up before your kitchen sink tank you can open the valves of both and flood the drain tube behind the Valterra. I've found that the 2 tanks will equalize, almost like having one BIG tank.
I have a valve leak and it was a pain to replace but even with that said some times you take off the cap and it is dry and others you might get a cup or more. Get one of these and it will never leak when you take off the cap. The best 21 bucks you will spend.
