I know this topic has been discussed on here a few times but I just can't seem to find what I'm looking for.
This past weekend was the second time I used the black tank flush. The first time, it seemed to work fine. This time, it seem to work, but was leaking water through the underbelly. I suppose I need to pull the panel where the city water and flush hook up is to see whats going on. Just looking for some advice so that I know what I'm looking for.
Should I let the dealer take care of it (under warranty) or is it simple enough for myself?
Thanks!

If the dealer is close, let them do it you already paid for it when new.
It sounds like the "Sani-Flush" is a cheap unit but mine NOW seems to work after blowing it out last year with 90PSI air.

the dealer is a good hour and a half drive.. we have a few minor things we want them to tend to, but we were just waiting for either enough minor things or a major thing to make the trip worthwhile.... I was planning on holding off till mid july as we are too busy to camp then...
I will give them a call tomorrow... at the very least just to get it documented.
Thanks guys.

You should at least call the dealer as they might have an idea from past customer issues and maybe save a trip.
However, the sani flush freshwater "clean out" line runs to the front of the black tank. It's held in place with a simple hose barb fitting and a hose clamp over it to ensure seal. If this hose clamp or fitting isn't tight, you might have a leak here, thus the fresh water leak. The leak might be also at the hose fitting at the side of the trailer and the water working down the line to it's lowest level where then leaking.
You do have to pull down the black sheeting and insulation layer to access.

just for an update: I called the dealer and they were very eager for me to bring it in (surprising). Anyway, were dropping it off next sunday (while they're closed) on our way home from a trip. It actually works out good. Were dry camping next weekend and I was trying to find the cheapest place to dump (its 15bucks for a day pass at the local provincial park) and the dealer also operates a park about 1/2 mile down the road from the lot... they are going to let me dump before I drop it off. They said it *should* be ready to go by Monday afternoon or Tuesday.

I have noticed on mine, when the water hose connection is not good and a good amount of water is collecting in the wet tray that it will run down the bottom lip of the siding, behind the water panel and drop out at the wheel well. Making it look as if water is leaking from else where. Could that possibly been what was happening?

That did happen to me, I was using a cheap quick connect on the city water line. Replaced it and problem solved. But my problem now is in the line somewhere between the sani-flush port and the tank.

I called the dealer today about my unit... it was supposed to be ready monday evening. Apparently my work order was misplaced and nobody had taken a look at my unit yet. It was supposed to be rushed in the shop this afternoon and promised to be ready tomorrow. We'll see what happens. Not overly impressed as of yet......

Getting less impressed with my dealer by the minute. Still no word on my trailer, no returned calls. It was originally promised to be ready last monday afternoon. Tuesday I called the girl said" I don't know the status of your trailer, call back tomorrow." I called back wednesday and it was apparently ready to be picked up but the girl wanted to verify and called me back in 10 minutes and it never even made it in the shop yet. She said it was getting rushed in the shop right away and it would be ready thursday. I had asked her to fill my empty propane tank since I had stuff in the fridge and was afraid the 2nd tank was going to run out. They don't have propane but she said she would plug it in. (I'm not 100% convinced that they would do that). Called today and left 2 messages with no reply.
So.... I called Randy ( I know its friday afternoon, I may not hear back till next week) but lets see what he can do for me. I have heard so many good things about this guy now I have my chance to find out for sure!

Update: Haven't heard from Randy, but when I phoned the dealer they said everything was good to go and apologized for the delay. Not sure how it happened, but none the less they said its ready for pick up...
edit:
oh, it was just a loose hose clamp... as I suspected!
