After enjoying a long quite Thanksgiving weekend with the DW, We had a blow out as we were exiting a off ramp of interstate only 6 miles from home. We did have something to be Thankfull for It only pulled one screw holding fender and didn't unravel the tire. The tires are Trail Express Power Terrain just over a year old. Now the other three will scare me.

Glad to hear all is OK. Trailer and yourself. We had our share of them this year and all on the same trip to Myrtle Beach. I highly recommend you replace the other 3, because if one is bad, the other will follow. I did not do this and we lost one on the down trip and one on the return trip. Had to purchase tires on the road, and did not like that idea.

Hope you were not on a major interstate, as this can be scary changing tires while the trailer is rocking from the traffic. Ugh. I-95 is not a good road to change a tire on.

Glad to hear you and the trailer are okay. Our trailer came with Mission tires and they did not even make 5k miles before we had to have them replaced with BFG Commercial tires. We will never buy another trailer with cheap China or overseas made tires, the dealer will either change them out or the deal is off.

Glad you were lucky with no damage. I just wish the USA would do a better job regulating what comes into our country.

Glad you're ok and that there was little damage. Yet another thing to be thankful for...Had you checked the airpressure on that tire recently, before it blew i mean...

Yes on Tuesday I aired them all up to 76psi. They recommend 80. Round trip was about 130 miles.

Glad to hear all is well with you and not much damage to the camper. There has been a rash of postings about tires blowing out. I wonder sometimes of it was cheap tires of one going low and overheating.

Did you check with your insurance company to see if they would cover the damage? The last blown tire I had on my previous trailer was covered by insurance. i believe the estimate was around $1,700.00. I got the check and repaired it myself.
