So after searching prior posts and not coming up with an answer I will post my question...

I purchased a Sunset Trail, it has bunks in the back which our 4 year old grandaughter claimed the top to be her's , the top bunk came with nothing to keep her from falling out which I thought was rather strange. any ideas on what can be used for this without screwing holes in the thin walls?

Target, Walmart, or Baby R Us carries bed guides that fold flush or up to stop rolling out of bed. They have two thin metal bars that go under the pad. When the child lays on the pad there is no way to roll off, about 20$

I used a pressure fit bunk on the bottom bunk. Our current setup has a home-made bed rail as described above. I was worried that the weigh of the foam sleeping 'pad' is not comparable to the weight of a residential matress and worried the whole combo could come rolling out so I screwed the bed rail to a piece of plyowwd which I cut to be almost as big as the mattress. This way, there is some additional weight holding the bed rail in place. I was worried about finding anything substantial (without coming right through) to screw into without the additional plywood.
