Calgon method

Do people still use this method? We camp at a seasonal and sometimes will empty 2 or 3 times a week and then not at all for a week or 2.

Do you have to mix up the calgon (or borax in my case) in hot water? Or can you do it in cold water with the laundry detergent?

Faithful user here. No, it doesn't need to be mixed with hot water.

Thanks. Do you use those drop in tans/packs at all with this method? If not does it keep the odor down?

I use either the calgon liquid, or powder. Which ever I find. Cheapest liquid laundry soap that I come across.
(tans/packs) I don't use them.

You must use the Calgon, not just the borax soap.

Been using the Geo method since I found it several years ago. Had great success with it.
