Cap Fade 2013 Reserve

ok i know that this shouldn't happen, but the nose cap on my 2013 reserve has faded to a complete white color. and it only faded from about halfway, from the top down!!!! The bottom is fine, just like it came off the showroom floor. What can i do, i am the second owner. The owners manual says i am out of luck since i am the second owner. Are there any cures for this or do i have to fade away in the sunset???????? I don't care what you say that was funny

Thank you.

Automotive paint and clearcoat. All dark colours fade.

Yep, the only cure is to have it painted. Polishing, buffing might work short term, but paint is only sure fix.

We have a 2013 cruiser and ours did the same. You could actually see thw run marks and every year got worse. Took it to our rv dealer and they repainted and coated the whole nose cap for $1,200. Apparently aĺl new trailers have a coating where oionization doesnt happen

Sunset Reserve should have done a recall

The supplier that made the Caps to Sunset Reserve travel trailers did not put a UV retardant in the polymers that's that's why the cap oxidized it and sunset Reserve should have done a recall of the caps to think their trailer is seen by so many people with faded caps is quite embarrassing of this company
