When you say "cap lights" are you referring to the yellow lights on each front corner? Not to familiar with the cameo line.

My switch is on the inside of the front storage bay on the inside front facing wall. Had to get my dealer to show me where it was. To actually see the switch, I would need to get half my body inside the compartment and contorted like a pretzel. Now that I know where it is, I can just reach it by feel. Just another example of the logic used by the manufacturer!

I don’t have that model but my 2020 cameo 3201 has a small black switch right by the hitch assembly on the drivers side on the underside of the portion that is over the truck bed if that makes sense

Yup that is where mine is on a 2012 SunsetTrail, 29BH.
First trip out they were on all night as I had no idea where or how to switch them. And the part about needing to have 1/2 of body in the compartment is TRUE.
To add to the confusing that switch is on the LEFT-Side of the trailer (Left-Hand access door) of the pass-thru compartment) inside mounted on the left side of that door, almost hidden.
AND the switch for the lights in the compartment is on the RIGHT-side of the trailer (Right-Hand Access door) to the pass thru compartment.

I think I would be adding wire and rerouting those switches where they are easier to get to. Just saying!

Not a bad suggestion, but let me explain.
One of the first things I did on our unit was replace EVERY lamp inside and out with LED's, plus I added a set of tail/brake LED's, and I replaced the original brake/tail also. To replace lamps assembly I needed to access wiring, RV wiring is at the best sketchy, or suspect. The connections are terrible, wiring maybe to short to really work with and it is not uniform or consistent from unit to unit, that is why there are so many question about can someone tell me where the ......... is located. It is like each guy on the assembly line wires how he sees fit or what suits him, not following any company standards, gee that would almost make sense, following company standards. As I understand the RV industry is a very Unregulated one therefore standards go out with the bath water.
For this reason when you take on a wiring job in an RV be prepared for a ton of unplanned work.
I also added closet lights, in the bedroom as well in the pantry, on a magnetic switch so that opening the door turned on the lamps and closing the door turned them off, I also added "reading lamps" located where each bed is, except the dinette make down and the sofa bed, but I added one for each of us in the king and queen bedroom, one for the lower and another for the upper bunk. Adding any of these lamps required a lot of ingenuity as finding suitable non-switched power was a trick. I didn't want to fully dismantle our brand spanking new unit, but I did have to pull lots of trim stuff off and left some panels to access power. What all these light changes and additions did for us was make the unit very comfortable for us and convenient, as well reduce the current draw significantly. The original bulbs drew approximately 3.0 Amps (each bulb) in the case of the living dining area there are double bulbs in each fixture, the LED's I installed now draw less than 0.3 amps per fixture instead of almost 6.0 amps. We have better lighting and you can see inside the closets/pantry and when you go to bed and the queen wants to read til 4 o'clock in the morning, I can sleep.

I have a Cameo 3891MK. My switch is to the left of the 5th wheel hub on the RV. See pics below. Looks really neat when on
