This afternoon my 12 volt ceiling fan stopped working. I turned the fan off then back on. It ran for a few more minutes then stopped again. The switch was very warm, even hot. Any ideas? If you say "switch" do you know where I can get a replacement?

I am having problems with my ceiling fan light. I contacted Crossroads and found out the ceiling fan only carries a 1 year warranty. After speaking to Crossroads I get the opinion replacement parts are limited. They were suppose to send me a switch for the light, instead I get a pull chain. When we purchased our unit the fan was an additional $99. Probably easier to replace the entire unit for the cost. The fans appear to be a disposable item. I going to look for a light kit replacement for my fan to fix the light issue.
