I am looking at purchasing a Fantastic Fan Model 6000RBT or 6600 w/remote.

Price is the same for either unit. Any comments on these units would be appreciated.

We have two Maxxfans, one in the front and one in the rear half bath. Maxxfans have their own built in covers. While they do not have rain sensors they do have a thermostat setting making them automatic in that mode. The one in the front bunkhouse has a ceiling fan mode as well.

If the Fantastic Fan works anything like the Maxx Air, you will like it. I have the Maxx Air II with remote in the bedroom. I really like the thermostat feature that will open the vent and kick the fan on ata set temp. The only complaint I have is the loud beep that goes off when any button on the remote is pushed. I could live with out that feature.
