I am going camping in MN this weekend and it is supposed to dip to around 28F one of the nights. My camper has what they call the Polartec insulation package. Should I be worried about the water lines freezing? Trying to determine if I should risk using water this weekend. Sure would be nice to not have to walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
If you plan on running the furnace, you should be safe. Maybe consider leaving the lower cabinet doors open just as an added precaution .
We have camped in lower temps than what you are talking, and didn't have any issues.
Fall camping can be the best time of the year.
Just as Lloyd said run the furnace to help heat the under belly where your water tank is. If you are connected to city water disconnect the hose and use the water tank. Fall camping is very doable as long as you are prepared. We really enjoy it!

I live and camp in Minnesota. If the temps go above freezing during the day, you will be fine.
A good test is to put a 1/2 bottle of water outside and keep an eye on it. If it starts to freeze, shut off and remove the outside hose. Use your fresh water tank if it's that cold.
The temps you are talking about, you will be just fine.
I'll be out there too. It's a beautiful time to be camping.

Have not posted in here in a while but this thread called to me. Not because of the colder temps as we will be in the 30 degree range and 60’s during the day. But for some great fall camping! We are doing the last run of the year down to Royal Gorge for the weekend. Actually staying an hour to the North but it’s leaf peeping time and I didn’t realize we were so close when we camp down there until the other day. It’s also on the wife’s bucket list.
