Lloyd has it right, just replace the board, cheapest and easiest way to fix the problem.

I agree. My son replaced his 45 amp board last season. Easy job.

Is the converter a separate unit or built into the breaker box? Makes a difference

It is below the breaker Larry, and is a 55 amp Series 7100

Then it is a Parallax unit, 7155, which is an "all in one" unit with both the converter, DC fuses and AC breakers in a single chassis. Unless Progressive makes just a drop-in equivalent converter board, you would have to find a complete system from Progressive that has the same dimensions and you would have to disconnect every AC and DC wire, well marked of course, and then move them over to the new system. Too much work and too great a risk of mistakes IMHO.

Edit, found what you need from Progressive.

Inteli-Power 55 Amp Converter/Charger
Model #PD4655V replaces these converter sections: Parallax/Magnatek #6355, Parallax #7355, Parallax #7155,
Parallax #8355, WFCO™ #8955

I replaced the WFCO in our trailer last fall with a PowerMax Boondocker converter that I purchased from Best Converter (BestConverter - Converters, Inverters, Electrical Supplies, Electronics). They had the best price and the PowerMax had the best warranty of any of the units that I researched. The PowerMax main website is: PowerMax Converters. So far I have been really pleased with the new converter.
