Are the lights dim? Measure the voltage. On mine the lights would get very dim and voltage would be down around 12V or lower (can't recall), then it would finally jump to 13.6V and lights would be normal briteness, but quickly fall again. I ordered a replacement board from Tweety's for a little over $200. Took 10 min. to swap it out. Solved the problem. This was on my old '04 Cruiser back in Feb.

Mine went out Last year, I pulled into a campground and plugged in nothing happened. Previously from the time we bought the camper the lights would dim and than come back on strong. I check the battery every trip, water was at the proper level. The fan ame on a lot in the old converter. The RV tech that came out tested the converter and replaced it with an up grade, also it made a two year old battery go bad. The new converter fan does not come on hardley at all, no more lights dimming and going bright. Did learn to carry a trickle charger so if it happens again I can use it in place of the battery while camping

We had a similar thing on our last trip. Weunpluggedthe shore power and then tried to drive the slides in, nada. Hooked the TV up to it and they came in. The 12V system was running off either the converter or TV battery but not the internal batteries.
It turned out that a wire from the batteries had pulled out of a ring lug terminal. Put a new lug on, reconnected it and all is good.
I hope yours is something simple like that.

You wanted a way to check the convertor. When you take the face plate off in the upper right on the board there should be two big lugs, one with white wires and one with a red wire. these should have 13.2 to 14.6 volts DC between them (I'm hoping you can use an electrical meter)
Converter Operation Modes
All WFCO power converters are automatic three-stage switching
power supplies. The converter senses which mode it needs to be in by
checking the RV system voltage.
The three modes/stages of operation include:
Absorption mode/Normal operation
Nominal battery charge and supplies power to appliances
Bulk mode/Charge mode
Fast battery charge and supplies power to appliances
Float mode/Trickle charge
Trickle battery charge during storage
Absorption Mode: During this mode, the converter output is in the
13.6 Vdc range. This is the normal operation mode. This mode
provides the 12 Vdc and current required by the 12 Vdc RV appliances,
as well as slow charging the battery.
Bulk Mode: In this mode, the output voltage of the converter will
switch to 14.4 Vdc range for a maximum of four hours. If the converter
cycles between āAbsorption and Bulk modeā?, there could be a shorted
battery cell or other issues.
Float Mode: In this mode, the converter is charging the battery with a
trickle voltage of 13.2 Vdc. When the converter senses a demand (by
turning on lights), the converter automatically returns to the

Did you check the voltage output? The fans come on when the convertor goes into "bulk" mode (13.6 to 14 volts output)
