Crossroads is owned by Thor. I can find no evidence that Thor has acquired Jayco.

Why do you ask?

Jayco is the larget privately owned RV company in the world. Thor is the largest RV holding company in the world.

I doubt there are any plans to combine, especially since they do so well apart and inspite of each other.

I was reading some on rv.net and some one said they went by the crossroads and Jayco factory for a tour but they were not giving any, I then thoughtI wonder if they were all in one or if they are just near each other. Sort of like when the waitress ask me if i wanted soup or salad , and i ask what is a super salad. I do that alot.

They are about 18 minutes apart. In-fact, if you go to the Crossroads factory you can drive .2 miles to the Forest River Wolfpack and Forest River Cedar Creek factories. If you drive 12 minutes your at the KZ factory and .2 miles past that you are at the Dutchmen factory........

All of the factories are within the same area, about a 20 mile radius.

hi all! we're looking to buy a cruiser 32bl but am having trouble finding dealers in california. any suggestions? I've heard of RV wholesalers ... how does that work and can you "order" your rv factory direct? thanks for the upcoming info!

RV wholesalers is in Ohio and you can order through them then pick it up or have it delivered.

You can not order direct through the factory. I assume you used the dealer locator on the cross roads page. I would guess there should be one within say 150 miles.

When we picked ours up at RV Wholesalers, the whole bay was full of trailers to be picked up by people all over the USA and Canada. They all said it was worth the savings to go to Ohio. We picked ours up, then stayed several days at Indian Lakes State Park......just down the road, just to make sure we understood everything, and that everything was working properly. In fact, our salesman, Mitch, stopped by the campground on his way home, just to double check that we had it all under control.

But, that is a long way from California....but what a great trip.
