On Monday morning while leaving Salisbury State Park I took a wrong turn and accidentally "bumped" a concrete barrier. After pulling over to assess the damage I noticed the front driver's side wheel was out of alignment. I immediately parked and the Camp Host took me to town (4 miles) to a Truck Equipment Company. They came out and assessed that the axle was in fact bent and I would need a new one. My stomach turned I figured I'd be here for weeks if not longer. I called my insurance agent, then I called and cancelled our reservation for Bar Harbor this week, and our reservation for Quebec City. All the negatives I've read came to my mind and I was thinking the worst.

I then called Crossroads and got a hold of Bill Hodge. He said normally they don't ship parts to non-dealers but he would see what he could do. We booked ourselves back into Salisbury, but only until Friday as they are booked full for next weekend. The State Police gave me permission to move to a public parking area over the weekend, 88 degrees and no electricity oh my! My day was getting worse.

Bill Hodge called me yesterday and he said they would ship an axle to me 2nd day, so it would be here Thursday and we could be on our way by Friday. Imagine my surprise when I got a call from Lacey Trucking here at 12:30 today telling me my axle was in, in only ONE DAY! Shocked, pleasantly shocked. Tomorrow at 8 they install the axle and we have arranged to indeed go to Bar Harbor with no loss of our payment, they moved our reservation for us so we're good to go.

Thanks for listening, just wanted to post something positive for once

Travel well,
Jim

Well I'm glad it was an easy fix. It could have been a lot worse if it was body damage on a new trailer.
I have had great luck with Bill also. Glad you are getting it fixed so quickly!
Has the weather been co-operating yet?
Peter

Good to see that they helped you so quickly. It shows they could do it when they want to.

Did you try MyRV in Richmond just outside of Ottawa? On our way through Ottawa last year we stopped there and they are a CrossRoads dealer. Not sure of their reputation but they had a lot of them on the lot and what looked like a reasonable sized shop.

I wish that Crosssroads would step up and give a helping hand on my CF335SS.

When I turn a right hand corner the main slide leans out at the top damaging the ceiling where it hits it and the woodwork on the top of slide. I contacted customer service about engineers calling the dealer ( taking it in on the 24 of June, tomorrow), to help resolve the problem and Bill Hodges said that engineers do not make phone calls, the dealer would have to call them.

The dealer says in response to my problem, I never heard of that.

Guess I see how this is going to go.

I have had a number of problems with my Cruiser, many I fixed myself, workmanship problems.

Dealer replaced leaking water tank. Now the bedroom slide doesnt pull in evenly so it does not seal up on the front of slide, and main slide falls out damaging it and ceiling.

I wouldnt recommend Crossroads.

You need to call CrossRoads Service Dept. 1-855-226-7496 and make sure you ask for Bill Hodges.
I've got the same problem and they now have a fix.
Make sure you have your local dealer info ready.
My dealer didn't even know about this until I called them and they are calling him to order the part. It's I hope being installed now so we can leave on vacation next week.
The cosmetic damage on the inside will be fixed at a later date (molding and ceiling) probably after camping season.
Sounds like a design problem.
