One of the strings on the rear picture window day/night shade just broke. We're still under warranty, has anyone had any experience with CR in making the repair or sending new string?
We won't be back to our dealer until May as we winter in Fl. so I thought I may have to contact CR. I'll contact my dealer Monday and see what he has to say. Thanks for your response.
We had an issue with our curtains and the dealer is closed for the winter. I called Andi at Crossroads Service and she sent us all of the pieces directly to our home address. Everything worked out great.
On small issues like this, my dealer (200 miles away) will just have it send directly to me. Anything major will either go back to them or he will make arangements with a more local dealer to have it fixed.

The blinds can be re-strung and they can either send you the cord with directions or you can push for a whole new assembly. The cord is about a 15 minute job. I have replaced 2 on mine. When replaced, I adjusted the screw with plastic barrel so that the threads weren't so tight that it chaffed the cord.

Thanks all for the input. I just discovered a new CR dealer close by us in Fl. I think I will check with them about the shade and I also have to replace the sofa air mattress as it has a slow leak.
The shades are fairly easy to install and adjust. The hardest part is to get the tension tight enough to hold the shade but loose enough that it is still easy to raise and lower.
