Has anyone detached the dinette table from the floor so that it can be moved? If so, can you travel with it that way? My wife and I are both of the "larger than average variety" and the space is a bit tight.

Thanks,

It is held down with screws. We have moved ours a couple of times rearranging our setup. Ours has wood plugs on the legs you remove to access the screws.

One option is to remove two of the chairs and move the table to one side for more clearance on the other side. If you occasionally need four chairs, then get several folding chairs.Another option would be to remove the screws holding the table in place, but then add several 'D rings' on the floor so you can then strap the table in place for travel.
