Dometic Fridge issue

I own a 2012 Rushmore 34SB with a four door Dometic fridge. When we boondock and have the fridge running on propane and nothing else on, our batteries go to empty within a day and a half. When the fridge is running on propane it make the same noise as when running electric. It sounds like a small motor or fan. Any suggestions or comments!!!!

That would be your coil cooling fan behind the fridge running. With that and the other things pulling 12 volts in the trailer it would not take long to drain a battery.

You state "batteries" so I'm thinking you have two?? If not I would suggest getting two, and make them a "GOOD" 6volt deep cycle. Like Trojan.
Have you had the batteries tested to see if they are getting weak
I know furnace fans will raise cane with batteries, but that must be one heck of a fan on that fridge if it draws that much.

When not plugged in to shore power...and fridge on gas, our battery died in about a day and a half...

The noise is the external fan if the fridge is in the slide

Picture of our fan about 1/3 the way down from the top. Thermal switch on Condenser turns it on and off - </span>ON about 150 F/OFF about 130 F
